March 19, 2009 Office of Professional Practice plans open houseWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue University Office of Professional Practice will hold an open house 2-4 p.m. Thursday (March 26) in Potter Engineering Center.The Office of Professional Practice provides administrative support for all academically approved co-operative education programs, academically approved internships that require student registration at Purdue, the Global Engineering Alliance for Research and Education in the College of Engineering, and global internships in the colleges of Engineering and Technology. The open house will give visitors a look at the office's renovated space in Potter 110, 114, 118 and 122. From 2-3 p.m., co-op and internship students will present posters detailing their work. That will take place in the atrium opposite the entrance to the Siegesmund Engineering Library. A formal program is planned from 3-3:20 p.m. in the same location, followed by a social hour in the office space. The event is free and open to the public.
