High school juniors invited to Women in Engineering Discovery Day

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - High school juniors, their parents and teachers are invited to a Discovery Day event sponsored by Purdue University's Women in Engineering Program on April 20.

Students will meet professors, current women engineering students and practicing women engineers. They'll receive an overview of Purdue's engineering program and specific information on individual engineering disciplines.

Lunch and campus tours also will be provided. There will be an informal reception at Purdue Memorial Union for those arriving the night before. 

Registration, which closes April 10, is free but limited to 250 participants. To register online, go to https://www.purdue.edu/WIEP. If you have questions about Discovery Day, call the Women in Engineering Program at 765-494-3889 or email puwie@ecn.purdue.edu.
