Energy Centers plan battery technology workshop

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue University Energy Center and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Richard E. Lugar Energy Center will sponsor a battery technology workshop on Feb. 27.

The workshop will be in Stewart Center, Room 314, on Purdue's West Lafayette campus.

The workshop is designed to build the battery research community in Indiana. Academic and industry representatives interested in battery technology are invited.

Among participants expected are representatives of Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indy Power Systems, International Energy, Tawas ICMS, CACI, and Thomas P. Miller & Associates. In addition to the hosts, academic participants will come from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Notre Dame University, Indiana University Northwest and Ivy Tech Community College.
