Harrison Hall presents drug awareness program for students

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue University's Harrison Residence Hall is hosting a drug awareness program called "Drugs and you: Everything you ever wanted to know about dope…in one hour" on Feb. 18 and 25.

Officials from the Purdue University Police Department and the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor's Office; Stephen Akers, Purdue's executive associate dean of students; and Lisa Heinold, university residences' administrator of conduct, will make presentations. The Purdue Police Department also will have a show-and-tell session and display different types of drugs that have been confiscated.

The event, which starts at 8 p.m. both days, is open to the campus community.
