DeGuilio-Fox named director of Purdue Technology Center in Merrillville

Kathy J. DeGuilio-Fox has been named director of the Purdue Technology Center of Northwest Indiana. She had formerly been its business development manager.

She succeeds John M. Hanak, who became director of Purdue Research Park's statewide network of technology centers in 2008.

DeGuilio-Fox's duties as director of the Purdue Technology Center of Northwest Indiana include prospecting for and evaluating potential new technology-based client companies, providing support for the growth and development of early stage high-tech client companies, and implementing and overseeing overall facility policies and services.

Purdue Research Park in Merrillville is one of four Purdue Research Parks around the state anchored by the Purdue Technology Centers, which serve as incubators for startup or expanding companies. The others are in West Lafayette, Indianapolis and New Albany.
