New winter exhibits on display in Rueff Galleries

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Two new exhibits are now on display in the Patti and Rusty Rueff Galleries at Purdue University.

The two exhibits will run through Feb. 6. The galleries are located in the Yue-Kong Pao Hall of Visual and Performing Arts, 552 W. Wood St., and are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Gallery exhibits are free and open to the public.

"Shameless," an exhibition of jewelry and metalsmithing, highlights the works of six people who received master of fine arts degrees from East Carolina University's Metal Design Program from 2004-08. This display in the West Gallery features the work of M. Grafton, Kathryn Osgood, Melissa Manley, Sharon Massey, Marion Sak and Marlene True.

"A Living Gallery: Bodies in Time and Space" involves performances and installations by faculty members of Purdue's Division of Dance. The show incorporates community artists and "Lower Left," a dance performance collective. The East Gallery exhibit includes a combination of visual art and live performances each day.
