WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Four scholarships are available for adult undergraduate students at Purdue through the Span Plan Adult Student Services program in the Office of the Dean of Students.

The first three scholarships require an essay and letters of reference. Scholarship applications and requirements are available in the lobby of Schleman Hall of Student Services, Room 207, and online at https://www.purdue.edu/ODOS/spanplan/services.htm

The Helen B. Schleman Scholarship is named for the former dean of women and founder of the Span Plan Adult Student Services Program. Admitted adult undergraduate students must enroll in a minimum of six credit hours and maintain a 2.2 GPA. The second scholarship, the Peggy Sullivan Achievement Award, named for a former Span Plan director, is for full-time continuing adult nontraditional undergraduate students who maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0. The award is for $1,000, and the deadline for applications is Feb. 15.

The third scholarship is the Nontraditional Student Scholarship, which is open to degree and non-degree seeking students. It is a $1,000 scholarship, and the deadline for applications is March 1.

The last scholarship is named for Linda Hurd Ewing, a former associate dean of students.
