Purdue University alumni and friends are invited to Indianapolis for the Purdue Alumni Association's second annual Boilermaker Ball.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, at the Indiana Room Ballroom, 140 W. Washington St., Indianapolis, with a cocktail hour, dinner and live auction. Live entertainment and dancing will follow.

A silent auction also will allow patrons to bid on Purdue memorabilia and other items throughout the evening. Purdue items up for bid include a Purdue football signed by Drew Brees, coach Joe Tiller and other Boilermaker football legends, an antique water can used by the football team in 1950 and tickets to watch a Purdue football game in a suite. Other items include tickets to live shows such as Stomp!, concerts and a variety of five-star restaurants. Several trips also will be auctioned. Attendees can bid on a five-night stay in Mexico and a weekend getaway at the Highland Haven Resort in Evergreen, Colo.

The Boilermaker Ball allows Purdue alumni, friends, university administration, and students to unite in celebration of the Gold and Black, while assisting the Purdue Alumni Association in its quest to honor loyal Purdue alumni and engage the next generation of Boilermakers. Future balls are planned annually for the last Friday of February.

Individual ticket prices range from $100 to $150. Group seating and table hosting opportunities are available. Limited blocks of rooms are available for overnight attendees at the Conrad Hilton Hotel and the Embassy Suites.  For more information or to RSVP, go to https://www.purduealum.org/boilermakerball or call the alumni association at (800) 414-1541.
