October 21, 2008 Purdue trustee, businesswoman to discuss book, business strategyWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Author and businesswoman Susan Bulkeley Butler will address students and members of the public interested in entrepreneurship as part of a women and leadership course Tuesday (Oct. 28).The breakfast and talk is scheduled for 9 a.m. in room 129 of the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship. Attendees should register in advance by e-mail with Nathalie Duval-Couetil at natduval@purdue.edu. In the book, Butler, a Purdue trustee and corporate veteran, discusses how to apply the strategies she uses as a CEO to develop the inner potential of readers. She also gives insights into how women can succeed in business. Butler's presentation is co-sponsored by the Susan Bulkeley Butler Center for Leadership Excellence and Purdue's Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program. Purdue is a member of the Kauffman Campuses Initiative, an organization aimed at promoting entrepreneurship ideals nationwide.
