Industrial Roundtable job fair planned

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Industrial Roundtable, a student-run job fair, is being held this week (Sept. 8-12) on the Purdue University campus.

The job fair, sponsored by the Purdue Engineering Student Council, gives students a chance to interact with a variety of companies. Since its beginning in 1980, the fair has grown to more than 300 companies. According to the council, the Industrial Roundtable is the largest student-run job fair in the nation.

From 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday (Sept. 9 and 10), participating companies will set up shop on the Purdue Memorial Mall. The companies will be looking for students interested in summer internships, co-op programs and permanent jobs. Companies will interview job candidates Wednesday through Friday (Sept. 10-12).

More information on the job fair is available by contacting pescir@ecn.purdue.edu. Students can find company information online at https://www.purdue.edu/pesc.
