Women in Engineering invites high school seniors to campus

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Registration is open for this year's Discovery Day program offered by Purdue University's Women in Engineering to high school seniors.

The one-day program will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, on campus. It is aimed at high school seniors who want to explore engineering at Purdue. Attendees will meet current engineering students, faculty and alumni.

Parents and teachers also are invited to attend.

Those arriving on campus on Sunday, Oct. 5, will be offered campus tours and a welcome reception.

The program, which Women in Engineering has sponsored for more than 20 years, is limited to 250 participants. It is free. A $15 registration deposit will be refunded to those who attend.
