March 13, 2008 2008 Boilermaker Ball draws sellout crowdWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -
"Union Station in Indianapolis was filled with Purdue pride for our first Boilermaker Ball," Kirk Cerny, executive director and CEO of the association, said. "We sold all the tickets that were available for the event," Cerny said. "Attendees spent a magical evening enjoying wonderful food, great music and Purdue friendships. We want to make next year's event just as successful and look forward to hearing from our Boilermaker friends how we can best do that." Cerny said attendees are encouraged to provide their feedback on the event through a 15-question survey by going to the Purdue Alumni Association Web site at https://www.purduealum.org. The party, which featured a dinner, silent auction, dancing and other entertainment, will be an annual event, to be held the last Friday in February in Indianapolis. The 2009 Boilermaker Ball is slated for Feb. 27. More than 300 photos of this year's ball also can be viewed online at the association's Web site.
