Tree's arrival at Union marks start of holiday season
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -
Purdue buildings and grounds workers erect a 27-foot Christmas tree in the Purdue Memorial Union Great Hall. The blue spruce, donated by Harry and Ruth Shedrow of Lafayette, Ind., is one of the largest indoor Christmas trees in the state and serves as the centerpiece for the Holidays Around the World celebration.
