March 16, 2007 Senior U.S. military members to participate in forum at PurdueWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Members of the Eisenhower Series College Program will participate in a public forum at 7:30 p.m. March 22 during a three-day visit to Purdue University.Purdue's Department of Political Science will sponsor the free forum, "National Security for a New Era: Challenges in the Complex Strategic Environment of the 21st Century," which will take place in Wetherill Laboratory of Chemistry, Room 172. The program, sponsored by the Dwight D. Eisenhower National Security Series, seeks to encourage dialogue on national security and other public policy issues between senior officers of the U.S. military and the general public. Members primarily visit students and faculty at colleges and universities across the country. Past visits have included meetings at Harvard University, Yale University and the University of North Carolina.
