Daniels
Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr.
Governor of Indiana

Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. is the 49th Governor of the State of Indiana. He was elected on November 2, 2004, and sworn into office on January 10, 2005.

Prior to running for public office for the first time in his life, Mitch Daniels served in top leadership positions in business and government. Today he is using this experience to focus on strengthening Indiana's economy, reforming state government, and restoring the fiscal integrity of the State.

 

Mann
Alfred Mann

Mr. Mann is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Alfred Mann Foundation, founded in 1985, and the Alfred Mann Institute for Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California. The Foundation and the Institute are nonprofit research organizations devoted to development of advanced medical products in a variety of fields. Mr. Mann is also Chairman of the Southern California Biomedical Council and a Trustee of the University of Southern California.

 

Jischke
Martin C. Jischke
President Purdue University

Dr. Martin C. Jischke became Purdue University's 10th president in August 2000. A Chicago native, he received his bachelor's degree in physics with honors from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and earned his master's and doctoral degrees in aeronautics and astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

 

Mason
Sally F. Mason
Provost

Provost Sally Mason received her bachelor's degree in zoology from the University of Kentucky in 1972, a master's degree from Purdue University in 1974, and a PhD in cellular, molecular, and developmental biology from the University of Arizona in 1978. After two years at Indiana University in Bloomington doing postdoctoral research, she joined the University of Kansas in 1981. During the span of her 21 years at KU, she served as a full professor in the Department of Molecular Biosciences, acting chair of the Department of Physiology and Cell Biology, associate dean in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and finally, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences.

 

Hornett
Joseph B. Hornett
Senior Vice President, Treasurer, and Chief Operating Officer
Purdue Research Foundation, Inc.

Since 2001, Joseph Hornett has served as senior vice president, treasurer, and chief operating officer of the Purdue Research Foundation, located in West Lafayette, IN. In this role, he is responsible for managing the affairs of this nearly $600 million 501(c)3 charitable organization that was founded in 1930 to exclusively serve the interests of Purdue University. Hornett is charged with providing strategic direction and leadership in five mission-critical areas: endowment management, trust administration, real estate operations, technology commercialization, and economic development initiatives.

 

Rutledge
Charles O. Rutledge
Vice President for Research

Charles O. Rutledge is a pharmacologist with expertise in the actions of drugs on the central and peripheral nervous systems. He received his PhD from Harvard University in 1966 and studied with Nobel Laureate Arvid Carlson in Gothenburg, Sweden, on a NATO postdoctoral fellowship the following year. 

Wodicka

George R. Wodicka

George R. Wodicka is Professor and Head of the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering, and Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, U.S.A. He is also Co-Director of the Bindley Bioscience Center at Purdue University, and Chairman of the Joint Purdue University - Indiana University Biomedical Engineering Graduate Program.
