Deadline for Healthy Purdue is Friday

The deadline for Healthy Purdue 2009 is Friday (Nov. 20). All benefit-eligible employees and their spouses/same-sex domestic partners are welcome to participate until the deadline, though in order to finish and complete the required four colored apples, participants must have already begun.

For those completing a community or training alternative, all paperwork must be submitted by 5 p.m. ET Friday.

The processing of apples is ongoing. For those who have completed an apple that does not yet show in the online tracking system, contact StayWell at (800) 926-5455 to verify completion of the blue or white apple, or the red apple if a participant completed three online education centers through StayWell.  For questions regarding completion of a purple or red apple on campus, contact your campus program.

As the deadline is nearing, the remaining choices of apples to complete are limited. If participants did not start the blue apple -- StayWell's health coaching -- by June 30, or the white apple -- StayWell's online healthy living programs -- by Sept. 11, there is not enough time to finish them before Friday. There are no further opportunities on campus to earn the purple behavior and lifestyle change programs apple.

Both employees and spouses/same-sex domestic partners need to check progress toward completing Healthy Purdue 2009. Go to www.purdue.edu/healthypurdue, click "Check My Apples," log in with career account and password, then select "2009" on the left navigation bar. Employees are required to complete the spouse verification information on this listing.
