THiNK, Connections honored with regional awards

Two Purdue publications were selected as winners in the 2009 Pride of Case V Awards Program.

The College of Liberal Arts’ THiNK magazine and the College of Agriculture’s Connections magazine both received Gold Awards. THiNK placed in the most improved alumni or institution magazine category. Connections placed in best tabloid or newsletter for external audiences.

Those recognized for the accomplishments of THiNK magazine are John Contreni, Barbara Dixon, Kristal Arnold, Cheryl Glotzbach, and Grant Flora.

Those recognized for Connections magazine are Dan Annarino, Tom Campbell, Frank Koontz, Donya Lester, Megan Madia, Dinah McClure, Gina Price, Christine Roper, Jenn Stewart and Brian Wallheimer.

Each year members of Case District V -- which consists of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana and Ohio -- submit their best work in communications, alumni relations and development to the Pride of Case V Program.

Gold Award winners receive a trophy and certificate and will be recognized onstage during the Grand Luncheon at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers on Dec. 15. Abstracts of the winners and judges comments will be available later this fall at www.casefive.org/conference/2009.
