Purdue to hold auditions for 'Boiler Bytes'

Purdue's Office of Marketing and Media is hosting student auditions for the television program "Boiler Bytes."

The 30-minute video news magazine is produced for telecast on the Big Ten Network. Its news segments also appear on the Web as part of Purdue's viral marketing.

Students will be chosen to serve as either the program's studio host or one of the field reporters for the news segments. Students will work with a professional video crew and will be paid $50 for each appearance on "Boiler Bytes."

Auditions will be videotaped for review by the program producers and will consist of reading a short script as well as conducting an impromptu interview.

Auditions will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Dec. 2 in Room B22, Stewart Center. For more information, contact executive producer Larry Reagan at ldr@sandersnet.com.
