Flu shot coupons ending

Flu shot coupons are coming to an end sooner than expected.

Maxim Health Systems, the vendor partnering with WorkLife Programs, is working with retail locations (CVS, Marsh, Target) to provide seasonal flu shots in the community. Due to unexpected challenges in the production and distribution of seasonal flu vaccine, Maxim’s retail programs will be ending by Oct. 22.

This will be the last opportunity to use a flu shot coupon. Remaining dates by area are listed at www.findaflushot.com.

This does not affect the campus flu shot events. Vaccine supply is being carefully managed, and campus events will continue as scheduled.

Benefit-eligible employees, graduate staff, official Purdue retirees, and their spouses/same-sex domestic partners at the West Lafayette, Calumet, and North Central campuses may use retail location coupons. Employees register first, and then they can register their spouse/same-sex domestic partner.

To find a participating retail location near you and print a coupon, go to www.purdue.edu/worklife, log in with career account and password, and click “Flu Shots.” Select “retail location coupons” and follow steps listed. Bring the retail location coupon and the employee PUID to the scheduled flu shot session. Spouses/same-sex domestic partners are asked to bring their driver’s license as well.
