Space still remaining in red apple programs

There's still time to earn the red apple for Healthy Purdue 2009 by attending a presentation from WorkLife Programs.

Two sessions of "How to Cut Your Grocery Bill" will be offered in October. The first will be held from 12:10 to 12:50 p.m. Oct. 13 in Room 320, Stewart Center. The second session is from 12:10 to 12:50 p.m. Oct. 20 in Room 310, Stewart Center.

Karen Hosterman, WorkLife Programs registered dietitian, will spend the lunch hour teaching how to cut costs at the supermarket.

Another program, "Picky Eaters," will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 13 in Room 313, Stewart Center. In this program, registered dietitian Linda Monahan will inform attendees how their favorite foods can affect their health.

To register for these events, or other offerings, go to www.purdue.edu/worklife and log in with your career account and password.
