Update: Traffic, parking disruptions
Here are notes on some current and upcoming disruptions on the West Lafayette campus.
-- At the intersection of Beering Drive/Russell Street and Stadium Avenue, the City of West Lafayette on Wednesday (Oct. 7) will begin a project that will involve closure of one of the eastbound lanes of Stadium Avenue. The project calls for concrete work at the southeast and southwest corners and then milling and repaving of the total intersection along with about 75 feet of Russell Street south of the intersection.
-- Along the east side of Northwestern Avenue, from Northridge Drive to Lindberg Road, Vectren will replace a gas main at some time during October. Lane closures are expected during this work. Northridge is roughly across Northwestern Avenue from the north end of Mollenkopf Athletic Center.
