CSSAC adds seven to ranks

Matthew Marks became chair and seven new members began their terms on the Clerical and Service Staff Advisory Committee for the 2009-10 session on Sept. 8 during the group's meeting.

Marks succeeded Maggie Grogan as chair of CSSAC. Deborah Luedtke is the new vice chair.

Grogan handed over the gavel to Marks in a ceremony at a luncheon before the meeting.

President France A. Córdova spoke at the luncheon, welcoming new members and saluting outgoing members for their service on the committee.

Outgoing members Emily Branson, Gary Carter, Jamie Hendershot, Randy Luff, DJ Wilkinson, Cynthia Dalton and Grogan received clocks at the luncheon. Dalton will continue on the committee as a member emeritus.

The seven new members taking office were Cathy Roark, admissions, District I; Terry Wade, libraries, District I; Pat Williams, libraries, District I; Wanitta Thompson, College of Education-administration, District I; Ebony Barrett-Kennedy, Office of University Architect, District III; Dan Hall, Physical Facilities, District III, who is serving a two-year term filling a vacant seat; and Angel Gray, Wiley Dining Court, District IV.
