September 2, 2009 Electronic drop box now available on RheaThe Rhea development team has added a new drop box feature to the online learning resource to provide a convenient way to drop and receive files using a Web browser. Among other things, the drop box can be used for electronic homework collection or as an alternative to e-mail for file exchange. Anyone with a Purdue account can access their own personal drop box or search for another person's drop box by logging in with their career account and password at https://kiwi.ecn.purdue.edu/rhea/index.php/About_the_dropbox. Rhea is a University-wide online learning resource developed "for students by students" at www.purdue.edu/rhea. The goal of Rhea is to enable students to teach each other the material they learn as well as the connections between the material and with outside applications. Anyone with a Purdue career account can log into Rhea and contribute content. To connect this content with the "real world," research labs, companies and Purdue alumni are invited to become "liaisons" and share their perspective with the students through Rhea. Rhea is sponsored by the Motorola Foundation.
