CDFS preschool still has openings

The Purdue Child Development Lab Preschool has limited openings for 3- and 4-year-olds in 2009-10.

CDL offers a high-quality part-day early education program with morning or afternoon sessions available four days per week (Monday through Thursday). The program follows the Purdue academic year schedule.

Space is available this year for children 3 or 4 years old for either morning or afternoon classes, which begin Aug. 31.

The program is open to Purdue-affiliated and non-Purdue community families. To apply or for information, contact Janice Harlan at 49-42945 or jlharlan@purdue.edu.

The Department of Child Development and Family Studies operates two early childhood education programs located near Discovery Park: CDL and the Ben & Maxine Miller Child Learning Center (MCLC), which offers full-time care and education 12 months per year.

Both programs are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, which means they meet the highest standards in the early childhood field. The CDFS early childhood programs accept applications for the waiting list year-round for children from 6 weeks to 5 years.
