Purdue Working Parents Club schedules zoo visit for June 28

The Purdue Working Parents Club invites parents to visit Columbian Park Zoo on June 28. Starting at 2 p.m., parents can bring their children to a play date and stay to meet other Purdue parents.

Columbian Park Zoo is home to more than 190 animals, representing 79 different species. The zoo is located in the middle of Columbian Park, which is on Main Street just south of State Road 26.

Admission to the zoo is free. Upon arrival at the zoo, meet at the entrance. Parents are required to stay at the zoo with their child.

Those interested in attending should RSVP for the event by sending an e-mail to worklife@purdue.edu with their name and the number of children who will be attending. Parents also may call 49-45461.
