Update: Traffic, parking disruptions

Here are notes on some current and upcoming disruptions on the West Lafayette campus.

-- At Lynn Hall, the driveway east of the building will be closed today (June 11) at Harrison Street so that crews can work on a chilled water main leak. Access to the parking lot between LYNN and South Campus Courts will be from Sheetz Street only, not from Harrison. This work is expected to last all day, and the drive should reopen on Friday. -- At Young Hall, as part of the recladding project, fencing will be installed today (June 11) along the northern one-third of the building's east side. The diagonal sidewalk from the northeast entrance will be closed and the circular drive (underneath the carport) will be closed to vehicular traffic. No exits will be blocked and the sidewalk running parallel to Grant Street will not be blocked. Map: www.purdue.edu/physicalfacilities/travel/pdf/young_hall.pdf. For questions or concerns about this project, contact Chris Skiba at 49-62308 or ceskiba@purdue.edu

-- Reminder: At the Gatewood Wing construction site alongside the Mechanical Engineering Building, heavy vehicles are approaching from Grant Street via Central Drive and around Potter Engineering Center, then exiting via Third Street past Elliott Hall of Music.
