Clerical and service staff need to use personal holiday by June 21

Clerical and service employees need to use their 2008-09 paid personal holiday on or before June 21. Paid personal holidays do not carry over into the new fiscal year, so use by the June 21 deadline will ensure that clerical and service staff are able to take advantage of this University-provided benefit.

Employees should request their paid personal holiday by submitting the HRS Form 33Absence to their supervisors. The holiday may be used for any purpose.

The paid personal holiday for fiscal 2009-10 will be available for use starting July 2. Employees who want additional information or assistance may contact Gayla Ruark in the Shared Service Center (SSC) at 49-46705.

Purdue provides regular, benefits-eligible clerical and service employees who have completed at least three months of continuous service with one paid personal holiday each fiscal year.
