CFS Diversity Fair scheduled for Thursday

The fourth annual CFS Diversity Fair will be 2:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday (April 30) in Rooms 302 and 306, Stewart Center.

The event is being sponsored by the College of Consumer and Family Sciences and hosted by students in the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality.

This year's fair will celebrate diversity and multicultural research conducted by CFS faculty, staff and students. Also on display will be CFS honors thesis projects by honors students and their advisers.

Participants can enjoy ethnic food and activities, meet Purdue's cultural centers and discover many other cultural expressions from around the world.

CFS student organization Multicultural Society for Excellence is also hosting an Educational Book Drive. Gently used educational books for any age will be accepted. The books will be donated to Ambassadors for Children.
