Purdue summit to focus on advanced defense technologies

Officials and technical experts from government, industry and academia will discuss ways to detect and repair damage to military aircraft and ground vehicles at the second annual Purdue Systems Integrity for Defense Technology Summit on March 30-31.

The summit will bring together experts from the U.S. Air Force, Marines, Navy, Army and industry, including Boeing Co.'s Phantom Works.

Talks will include discussion of research related to Purdue's Center for Systems Integrity.

Victor Lechtenberg, vice provost for engagement, will present opening remarks at 8:20 a.m. March 30 in the South Ballroom, Purdue Memorial Union.
