February 3, 2009 Healthy Purdue 2009: It pays to get healthyHealthy Purdue 2009 brings more opportunities for benefit-eligible faculty, staff and their spouses/same-sex domestic partners to improve or maintain their health. New this year, participants can earn a $200 medical plan premium reduction in 2010 by completing the wellness screening, HealthPath Questionnaire (HPQ), and four apples by Nov. 20.Full details about Healthy Purdue 2009 are available at www.purdue.edu/healthypurdue and in the new Choose Well, Live Well newsletter that was mailed to the homes of benefits-eligible faculty and staff at the end of January. Choose Well, Live Well is a joint publication of Staff Benefits and WorkLife Programs. It is a combination of the Benefits Bulletin, monthly WorkLife Programs newsletter (Working Well), and the quarterly WorkLife Programs brochure. The newsletter will give faculty and staff a single printed source for benefits and health information while supporting the University's sustainability goals.
