WBAA to air Indiana State of the State address

Purdue public radio station WBAA will air the 2009 Indiana State of the State address by Gov. Mitch Daniels Tuesday, Jan. 13.

Daniels will use the speech to lay out his goals for the current session of the Indiana General Assembly, which includes crafting the budget for the next biennium.

After the address, Marianne Holland, Indiana Public Broadcasting news bureau chief, and WBAA News Director Mike Loizzo will moderate a panel discussion on what the governor has outlined.

Purdue Agricultural Economics Professor Larry DeBoer will be one of the experts giving insight on the challenges Indiana lawmakers face when crafting a state budget.

The special broadcast will be on WBAA AM920 at 7 p.m. Tuesday (Jan 13).
