-- College of Technology at Lafayette holiday open house reception. Current and prospective students and their families invited. 2:30-7 p.m. Training and reception center, Subaru of Indiana Automotive Inc., 5500 Indiana 38 East. Refreshments will be served, and visitors will have the opportunity to talk with faculty and student services staff about degree programs offered at the location. -- "Preserving Memories, Making History" exhibition. Local history exhibits prepared by Purdue students with owners of materials as projects in Archival Theory and Practice course taught by professors Susan Curtis and Kristina Bross. -- Season of Sharing. Boiler Volunteer Network. Step 1: Visit BVN in Room G4, STEW, and pick an ornament with the name of an area child or family in need (ornaments come from YWCA women's shelter, Salvation Army, Community and Family Resource Center, and American Red Cross). Step 2: Purchase gifts accordingly. Step 3: In week of Dec. 15-19, take gifts unwrapped to BVN for distribution. Questions: BVN at 49-62450 or bvn@purdue.edu.

-- Boiler Care-and-Share collection of non-food items. Dec. 8 through Jan. 14 leading to Purdue's celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Office of the Vice President for Ethics and Compliance, others.
