Focus Award nominations for disability efforts invited

The Affirmative Action Office is seeking nominations for this year’s Focus Awards, which honor outstanding contributions in furtherance of the University’s commitment to disability accessibility and diversity.

One award is offered in each of the following categories: faculty, staff, student, and organization. Nominees must be persons affiliated with Purdue. Nominations of alumni and retirees also will be considered within the appropriate category.

The Focus Awards will be presented at the Disability Awareness Month reception at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, in the West Faculty Lounge of Purdue Memorial Union.

Nominations are due Jan. 30. To submit a nomination, complete a nomination form and return it to Marcy Hintzman, Assistant Director for Compliance and Disability Services, Affirmative Action Office, American Railway Building (RAIL).
