Affirmative Action Plan posted online

The current Affirmative Action Plan for Purdue's West Lafayette campus for the period October 2008 through September 2009 is now available.

This Affirmative Action Plan is developed in accordance with the requirements of Executive Order 11246 (as amended) and the implementation guidelines published by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs in 41 CFR 60-2. The plan is adopted and implemented in good faith, in conformity with, and in reliance upon, the language of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Affirmative Action Guidelines (29 CFR 1608.5).

In addition, the current Affirmative Action Plan for Protected Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities for the West Lafayette campus for the period October 2008 through September 2009 is also available. This plan complies with Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Act of 1974 (38 USC 4212), as amended.

Both plans are available through the Affirmative Action Office’s Web site at http://www.purdue.edu/humanrel/aao/plans.shtml as well as available in hard copy in the Affirmative Action Office in the American Railway Building.
