November 14, 2008 Registration open for ecological sciences and engineering symposiumThe Purdue Ecological Sciences and Engineering Symposium will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Dec. 5 in Stewart Center and Purdue Memorial Union.The symposium is an interdisciplinary event, which is student run and organized by a committee composed of ESE graduate students. The theme is "Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature for a Sustainable World." The event is free and open to the public. The symposium is designed to create a forum for graduate students to present research, interact with experts in various environmental fields, and learn about environmentally focused initiatives at Purdue and in the area. The event is co-sponsored by C4E, Discovery Park’s Office of Engagement, the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources, the Department of Foods and Nutrition, Krannert School of Management, Office of the Vice President for Research, the Department of Anthropology, and the Department of Agronomy.
