Transportation Service vehicle sale set for this week
A sealed-bid sale, open to the public, is scheduled for early this month on more than 40 used vehicles from the fleet of Purdue's Transportation Service.
The available vehicles are from model years 2004-2007 and consist of flex-fuel Impala and Taurus cars as well as Astro, Express, and E150 passenger vans. Mileages range from 50,000 to 61,000 miles.
Vehicles will be available for inspection 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 6-7 (Th-F) and 8-11 a.m. Nov. 8 (Sa) at Transportation Service, 1175 Harrison St. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10.
