Update: Traffic, parking disruptions

Here are notes on some current and upcoming disruptions on campus.

-- The north-south sidewalk between State Street and Birck Nanotechnology Center is closed and fenced for sign work until Sept. 30. A map of the area is at www.purdue.edu/physicalfacilities/travel/pdf/sidewalk@nano.pdf.

-- The upper level of the Wood Street Parking Garage will be closed from Wednesday through Sunday to finish repairs. Overnight work calls for caution in the evening hours.

-- Starting today, construction is to begin on a new sidewalk in the center of Stadium Mall Drive from Neil Armstrong Hall to Forney Hall of Chemical Engineering (basically in front of Civil Engineering). Contractor equipment will access the area using the sidewalk north of Schleman Hall by its loading dock. The sidewalk and dock will remain open, but caution is important. Completion is expected by late October. A map of the area is at www.purdue.edu/physicalfacilities/travel/pdf/stadium_mall.pdf.
