An Aug. 22 workshop by Purdue's Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) will elucidate issues and techniques in "Bringing the World to Your Classroom through Digital Technology."

The event, which will focus on digital video and Adobe Connect, will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Rawls Hall and the Krannert Building. It is open to the first 30 Purdue faculty and Ph.D. students to RSVP at cibermail@purdue.edu.

Sessions will look at the digital video in regard to its pedagogical value, copyright and other legal issues, and the needed technology. The session on Adobe Connect will cover rationale and a demonstration for global team projects.

The workshop's subtitle is "Internationalizing Your Curriculum: A Workshop on Global Pedagogy for Business and Other Faculty."
