2 more grad dean candidates to make campus visits

The final two candidates for dean of the Graduate School will make campus visits this week and next.

Gita N. Ramaswamy, associate dean of Purdue's Graduate School, will make her official campus visit on May 28 and 29. Her open forum presentation is scheduled for 10:15-11:30 a.m. May 29 in Room 1142, Lawson Computer Science Building.

Debasish Dutta, professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan, will be on campus June 2. His open forum presentation is scheduled for 4-5:15 p.m. that day in Room 214A-B, Stewart Center.

The search committee for the dean of the Graduate School invited four candidates to campus for interviews and open forums.

The two other candidates, who already have made campus visits, are Duane Larick, senior associate dean of the Graduate School at North Carolina State University, and Craig Edelbrock, associate dean of the Graduate School at the University of Georgia.
