Catalyst Award Showcase is May 5

The first annual Catalyst Award Showcase will be held Monday, May 5, from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Shreve Hall Jade Room.

The showcase is an opportunity for units under the Executive Vice President & Treasurer’s area to share best practices and be recognized for their efforts to enhance diversity.

All of the units nominated for the Catalyst Award have demonstrated exemplary commitment in the areas of diversity recruitment, development, retention, and outreach.

Catalyst Award finalists will provide a brief 6-minute presentation highlighting their programs, as well as identifying key actions that resulted in the successful implementation of their initiatives.

Guests will be greeted with desserts from around the world, flavored Italian soda, teas, and coffee.

Subsequently, attendees will be able to informally talk with Catalyst Award finalists about their initiatives, and take part in the formal presentations.

This event is free and open to all members of the Purdue
community.
