Save the date: Old Masters 2008
Student organizers of the 2008 Old Masters Program have announced that the program will be Nov. 3 and 4, and they ask faculty to consider hosting an Old Master in their classrooms.
The Old Masters Program invites 10 distinguished professionals each fall to visit campus and interact with students.
The names of the Old Masters have not been released, but the current professional fields of the confirmed Old Masters include: aeronautical and astronautical engineering, agriculture, agricultural economics, agronomy, audiology and speech pathology, biochemistry, business, childhood deafness, civil engineering, consumer product development, corporate law, disability awareness, entrepreneurship, environmental affairs, human factors engineering, industrial design, management, mechanical engineering, medicine, pediatrics, pharmaceuticals, philanthropy, and plant breeding.
More information will be available in the fall about how to request and schedule an Old Master. The Old Masters Program Web site is www.purdue.edu/oldmasters.
