Nursing, Regenstrief to host distinguished professor

The Purdue School of Nursing and Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering are co-sponsoring a lecture on Tuesday, April 29, by Dean Bernadette Mazurek Melnyk, Ph.D., RN, CPNP/NPP from Arizona State University. 

Her talk on the "The State of Evidence-Based Practice with a Vision for the Future" will be at 10 a.m. in Burton D. Morgan Center. A reception will follow.  The lecture is a part of the Regenstrief Center’s Pioneer Speaker Series.      
 
Melnyk is currently the dean and Distinguished Foundation Professor for the College of Nursing and Healthcare Innovation at Arizona State University.  She is also the founder and chair of KySS (Keep your children/yourself Safe and Secure), a national mental health promotion campaign for children and teens.
