Fan fun planned during Big Ten tournaments
The Purdue Alumni Association and the John Purdue Club will host all Boilermaker fans at the Alcatraz Brewing Company Restaurant & Brewery for both the men's and women's Big Ten basketball tournaments.
The Alcatraz Brewing Company is located in the Circle Centre Mall next to the Canterbury Hotel. It is set up to be the gathering place for Boilermaker fans.
The women's tournament is March 6-9. Purdue plays its first game about 2 p.m. March 7. The men's tournament is March 13-16. Both tournaments will be played at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Purdue Alumni Association staff will be at Alcatraz two and a half hours before each game, but the Alcatraz Brewing Company will be the place to gather all day long, before and after the games.
The Alcatraz Brewing Company will have special menus to order from for quick service. Fans in Purdue gear will be rewarded with free snacks and soft drinks. Pick up Purdue trinkets and enter the drawing for a musical Purdue Pete.
