Purdue Crew Team to participate in row-a-thon on Saturday

Members of the Purdue Crew Team will participate in a fundraiser Saturday (Jan. 26) at the Tippecanoe Mall.

Team members will row from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on indoor rowing equipment to raise money for Lafayette Urban Ministries' Centralized Relief Fund and team expenses.

All donations will be split between the two causes, said Rebecca Lipasek, president of the Purdue Crew Team.

This is the third year for the fundraiser.

Approximately 150 students are members of Purdue Crew, which as a club is a self-governing organization in the Division of Recreational Sports.
