CDFS study looking for young children, families

Researchers in Child Development and Family Studies are recruiting families with children between the ages of 3 1/2  and 4 years old for a study on mother-child attachment relationships and children's socialization
behaviors.

The primary investigator is German Posada, associate
professor. Helping with the study is Garene Kaloustian, a doctoral student researcher.

Participation in the study includes two contacts 1.5 years apart, when children are 3.5 and 5 years of age. In each contact year, child-mother dyads will participate in one home visit and two playground visits.

Also, teachers and mothers will answer questionnaires about child behavior in the preschool setting.

Participating families will receive monetary gift as a token of appreciation for their time, and a child's book for their involvement.
