Affirmative Action Office seeks nominations for  2008  Focus Awards

The Affirmative Action Office is seeking nominations for this year’s Focus Awards. The Focus Awards are given annually to those affiliated with Purdue who have made an outstanding contribution in furtherance of the University’s commitment to disability accessibility and diversity. 

Focus Awards will be presented at the Disability Awareness Month reception scheduled for Tuesday, March  4, in the est Faculty Lounge of Purdue Memorial Union.

One Award is offered in each of the following
categories: faculty, staff, student, and organization. Nominations of alumni and retirees also will
sidered within the appropriate category.
 
To submit a nomination for the 2008 Focus Awards, please complete a nomination form  and send it to  Diana Prieto, Director, Affirmative Action Office, American Railway Building, by Feb. 1.
