CEC offers workshop on bringing programs, events to campus

Purdue's Department of Continuing Education and Conferences (CEC) is offering a half-day engagement and outreach event for Purdue deans, department heads, faculty, and administrative/professional staff who sponsor or bring non-traditional learning programs and events to campus.

Four sessions will run concurrently and will be offered twice, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 24. Participants may choose to attend two sessions from the following:

* Today's Learner: Building a credit program to reach the modern student
* Reaching Further: Building online programs
* Engagement Made Easy: Bringing your association or research colleagues to Purdue has never been easier
* Event Pre-eminence: how to plan your event to be more memorable

Jay Akridge, interim vice provost for engagement, will be the keynote speaker at the included luncheon.
