Telephone operators set hours for holiday breaks
The Purdue Operator Services Office will close for holiday weekends including Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
The office will close:
* From 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, to 7 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26.
*From 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, to 7 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2.
The office's AUTH code call (MERS) service and directory assistance will not be available.
Staff and faculty members can obtain a Quest calling card from their area's business office.
Also during closures, in case of an emergency, callers should dial 911 or contact the Purdue police at 49-48221.
