PUPD to participate in 'Tip-A-Cop' event on Friday
Texas Roadhouse will host a "Tip-A-Cop" for Special Olympics from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7. Local law enforcement officers, including our Purdue Police Department staff, will provide information about Special Olympics to the diners.
Diners may then donate to Special Olympics with their "tip." In addition, Texas Roadhouse will donate a portion of their total sales for the night to Special Olympics.
Last year, $2,500 was collected during a two-night period. This was the largest amount collected throughout the state. This year's donation goal is $3,200 in one day.
