December 5, 2007 Events today at PurdueHere is a list of events happening Dec. 5 at the West Lafayette campus.Wednesday, Dec. 5 -- Holidays @ the Union performances. Groups include the Mintonye Music Masters from 11-11:30 a.m.; Jeris Eikenberry from 11:30 a.m. to noon; West Lafayette seventh- and eighth-grade choir from 12-1 p.m. and McCutcheon Concert Choir from 1-1:30 p.m. PMU Great Hall. -- Holidays Around the World. Many student groups will share information about their culture's holidays such as Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Ramadan. Union Dining Services and Housing and Food Services also will provide food from around the world. 1-6 p.m. Purdue Memorial Union North Ballroom. -- Financial aid presentations for high school students and their parents. 6:30 p.m. Ivy Tech Community College Auditorium, 3101 S. Creasy Lane, Lafayette. The financial aid offices of Purdue and Ivy Tech will offer a presentation about financial aid basics. -- Men's basketball vs. Ball State. 7 p.m. Mackey Arena.
